"I found I could say things with colour and shapes that I couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for."

- Georgia O'Keeffe

I love working & creating with my hands. Whether I'm drawing, painting, or sculpting, I follow both my plan and my instincts to create each piece. This time and space helps me understand and process my thoughts or offer a rare moment when my mind is quiet.

In the studio, I lose track of time. Drawing with pencil, mixing paint, or shaping clay becomes meditative for me. This is where I work through ‘all the feels’ and turn everyday inspiration into art.

My artwork represents both careful thought and sometimes silly experiments. While I often notice the flaws (I am a true virgo…), each piece tells a story of how it evolved - from the first careful marks to the final details.

When these pieces leave my studio, they carry their history with them: the quiet of early morning work, the excitement of finding perfect colours, the satisfaction of solving creative problems, and the joy of creating something new & imagined keeps me creating.

"Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time." - Thomas Merton
